ACTION AND PREVENTIONThe TEBE concession invested, in 2016, approximately R$ 26.5 million in improvements and maintenance of the 156 km of highways it manages in São Paulo (SP-326, SP-351 and SP-323). As it operates in the Barretos region, known for its Rodeo Festival (Festa do Peão de Boiadeiro), TEBE also carries out a series of awareness-raising initiatives on traf c education during the event in August.OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCYThe concessionaire ViaRondon won 1st place in the Ef ciency of Operational Services in the Concessionary Award of the Year 2016, of Artesp. Responsible for the management of the western section of the Marechal Rondon highway (SP-300), which covers an extension of 243.8 km that clips 25 municipalities in the interior of São Paulo.WORKS AND MONITORINGIn 2016, Viapar invested R$ 246 million in dual carriageway works on a stretch of the Anel de Integração do Paraná (BR-376 and PR-317), in addition to anticipating the dual carriageway works of the PR-369 / S highway in Corbélia, With, a total extension of 5 km, originally scheduled for 2018. The concessionaire also started the replacement of the highway cameras with the IP model with infrared for night vision, providing the utility control center of the concessionaire and the Federal Highway Police better quality, for the monitoring of the highways.49
