In addition, Ecopistas is carrying out the extension of the Carvalho Pinto highway to the Oswaldo Cruz highway, which will facilitate access to the north coast of São Paulo. The work, with a value of R$43.5 million, is expected to be completed in the rst quarter of 2018.ATTENTION TO THE COMMUNITYIn addition, to the delivery of dual carriageways to part of the PR-407, of other improvement and maintenance works, Ecovia also stands out for the social projects it carries out. Among them, the Health of the Truck Driver, which promotes services available day to day for these users, such as medical check- ups, haircuts, educational lectures and interactive games. Another initiative is Cozinha Brasil, organized by Sesi / Senai do Paraná, which takes a truck (mobile kitchen) to a local community, educating groups of residents about, the reuse of food, sanitation, manipulation, care for hypertension and obesity.SAFETY WORKSIn 2016, the concessionaire Ecovias invested more than R$134 million in infrastructure works and improvements on the Sistema Anchieta-Imigrantes, with emphasis on a package of primary prevention security measures on the north and south lanes of the Imigrantes highway, with the construction of protective walls, screening, lighting and monitoring cameras. In October, the concessionaire set up an intelligent monitoring system, for the exclusive use of the police team that operates inside the CCO of Ecovias, 24-hours a day. The system consists of 16 high-resolution cameras with long-range zoom, infrared sensors for night vision and automatic incident detection.
