In 2016, the concessionaire invested approximately R$ 435.5 million in infrastructure works.DEVELOPMENT AND SOLIDARITYAutovias started, in April 2016, the dual carriageway works of 9.5 km of the Rodão Engenheiro Ronan Rocha (SP-345), between Patrocínio Paulista and Itirapuã (SP), and followed up on the dual carriageway works of the Rodovia Engenheiro Thales de Lorena Peixoto Júnior (SP-318), in São Carlos. In the social context, since 2014, the concessionaire has been developing the program Viva Meio Ambiente Arteris / Autovias for educational actions for environmental awareness and improvement of the quality of life of all the population in the area of direct in uence of the highways administered by the São Paulo concessionaires of the Arteris group. Educators have embedded group dynamics about the environment and receive all the pedagogical ***material to be distributed to the students, teachers and schools of the program, in the form of kits, books and instructive comics. The program received the Socio -Environmental Award, Chico Mendes, 2013 from the Socio-Environmental Research and Accountability, Chico Mendes, Institute.IMPLANTATIONS AND REPAIRSThe highlight of Centrovias in 2016 was the implementation of the Hon-da Road System Complex - Industrial District. With an investment of more than R$12 million, the project, when completed, will facilitate access to the assembly plant in the city of Itirapina. Because of the location, Honda’s land envelopes the road system of the highways SP-225 and SP-310, under the management of Centrovias. There are 7 km of marginal roads, 6 km of cycle paths and walkways for pedestrians, a footbridge and a route to enable access to the opposite carriageway.29
